San Fran Nympho – Miss Cable

San Francisco Nympho - Miss CableHaving sex with multiple partners is today’s new norm. On the contrary, this was not the case back in 1964. Although this era was the median of the Sexual Revolution, the overall concept of promiscuity was not widely accepted.

A couple weeks after moving to San Francisco, a woman was riding a San Fran Cable Car when it’s cable grip failed, causing it to barrel down the hill and finally hit into a pole. Now the normal person would most likely take a few days off work, get checked out by a doctor, or have a few drinks. Not Miss Cable. Still bruised and shaken from the accident, this woman apparently acquired a new sexual thirst that had to be quenched. Miss Cable hit the streets and consumed 100 men in a ravaged sex spree, 50 of which were reported to occur in a single week.

Claiming to suffer from Post Traumatic Stress, Miss Cable sued the state for $500,000 ($5k for each person she slept with?). Although she attempted to gain a half million settlement, the jury only awarded her $50,000.

After this weird lawsuit was settled, the woman fell off the face of the earth. She was later dubbed “Miss Cable” and her story still lives on.

Lets just say everyone left with a happy ending in this case!

I was stationed at Travis AFB in California in the 60′s and I remember following this court case in the newspapers. Something left out of this version of the court case is the fact that after the accident, she suffered from anxiety and went to a psychiatrist for help. The psychiatrist gave her a prescription for an anti-anxiety medication. After taking this medication she began her sexual escapades. That was a key point in this case. Since then I have had experience with several women taking anti-anxiety pills for emotional problems and they too, were very promiscuous. Coincidence? I think not.

Interesting detail Mark and coincidence is unlikely… wonder what type of anti-anxiety medication were prescribed. I believe Ecstasy (MDMA) was being experimented with but who knows what they actually gave her. If I come across an article with these details I will update the post… now I’m curious.
