A simplistic design has allowed people from all walks of life to share their 140 character micro thoughts with the world. But, with anything successful comes commercialism, greed and politics.

Kim Kardashian, made popular through a sex tape scandal and now a house-hold name, is being sued by the “Cookie Diet” doctor. Apparently, Dr. Sanford Siegal’s website CookieDiet.com linked to an article which claimed Kardashian had lost weight on the diet, prompting the celeb to lash out.

According to the Marketing Pilgrim and Media Post, “The reality TV star allegedly tweeted in October that Dr. Sanford Siegal was “falsely promoting” that she was on the cookie diet. “Not true! I would never do this unhealthy diet! I do QuickTrim!,” she allegedly said via Twitter. “If this Dr. Siegal is lying about me being on this diet, what else are they lying about? Not cool!””

Dr. Siegal filed a lawsuit against Kim Kardashian alleging these statements were both false and defamatory. The lawsuit details tout immature cyber laws and would put even Donald Trump’s lawyers to sleep.

The more important question is, by filing a lawsuit over a petty comment, is the cookie diet doctor a “cookie monster”?

This isn’t the first time Mario Batali has been involved in a legal battle. A similar lawsuit was filed against his New York restaurant Babbo. Deja vu? Coincidence? Unlikely but Mario Batali will have his day in court to defend his innocence.

For example, a woman playing golf hit the ball into railroad tracks only to find the ball crashing back in her face. Horrible coincidence right? The courts didn’t think so and awarded her $40,000.

How about a $2 million dollar paint job? A guy bought a BMW only to find out it had been repainted prior to his purchase due to damage from acid rain. His reward… $2,004,000.

A Swedish man donated his sperm to a lesbian couple so they could start a family. However, the same sex relationship did not last and one of the woman ended up suing the biological father for child support. She won and now this generous sperm donor is coughing up over $3,000 a year.

Ever walked by a vending machine and had it fall on you? This does not happen by chance. A teen was trying to steal a soda and his struggle to save a buck ended up costing him his life when the soda machine fell on top of him. His family sued Coca Cola for over a half million, blaming the company for not securing their machines and posting signs.

And the finale… a man turned gay after being rear-ended. No really, this guy got into a rear-end collision. Several years later, the man left his wife and started to frequent gay bars. Claiming the rear-end collision changed his personality (obviously more than that), this newly established gay man was awarded $200,000. His wife… she was awarded $25,000.

While facing charges for illegal dog fighting, Michael Vick was sued by an inmate in South Carolina who claims Vick stole his pitbulls, sold them on eBay, and then used the proceeds to purchase missiles from Iran.

How much does a Blue Nose Pit run on Craigslist these days? What, a few hundred dollars? For this kind of dough, I may just be tempted to add a few missiles to my collection as well.

It looks like the story does not end there. The inmate also requested the $63,000,000,000 be delivered to the correctional facility he is serving time in and on top of that, he demanded the $63 billion be backed by gold and silver.

Who would have thought a guy serving time for wire fraud would come up with such a brilliant scheme? This guy is a superstar!

Tens of thousands of open acres with lush juicy vegetation are available throughout the Montana Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest… perfect area for livestock to feed naturally right? Who needs grass fed cows when you can pack twice as many cows into 6×3′ cages and pump them with growth hormone until the cows come home (pun intended)? I digress.

There are two viewpoints in this lawsuit. Environmental groups who believe the Sage Grouse should be able to roam freely and not have their habitat ruined by happy hungry cows… and then of course the ranchers who want to provide their cows a nice meal.

The U.S. Forest Service provided an assessment stating Sage Grouse habitat was not at steak (pun), but the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ordered the Forest Service to prepare a new environmental assessment to prove both cattle and Sage Grouse can co-exist.

Maybe the cattle ranchers should demand a separate study from the environmentalists proving the existence of Sage Grouse in the area does not put their cows at risk of extinction!

The constitution does not prohibit the filing of lawsuits nor does it dictate how or who lawsuits can be filed against. So, this leaves the door wide open for Frivolous Lawsuits. The scum of this great nation take full advantage of these justice system holes leading to thousands of Frivolous Lawsuits being filed each year.

In regards to this lawsuit, Ernie claims he has tried contacting god on several occasions. Further, God allegedly causes “calamitous catastrophes resulting in the wide-spread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth’s inhabitants including innocent babes, infants, children, the aged and infirm without mercy or distinction.”

The lawsuit goes on to request a summary judgment or a hearing to command God stop engaging in the acts as conveyed in the lawsuit.

Hopefully God has a sense of humor and will not punish Ernie Chambers for his lawsuit, even if it was just to prove a point.

The announcement stirred up quite a commotion amongst F*cked Up’s followers and to pour salt in the wound, the act even went on Canada’s MuchMusic to further “validate” their story.

Whether this was a publicity stunt or cry for attention, it is safe to say this is F’d up, but then again what else would you expect from a band named F*cked Up?

Donald Trump is being sued again after another failed condo project (last year he was sued for the Trump Ocean Resort Baja Mexico deal). In this case, seven investors have become plaintiffs seeking punitive damages in excess of $10 million.

It gets better. The plaintiffs are also including Trump’s kids and wife in the lawsuit as they attended several project sales events. This led the investors to believe Trump and family were more actively involved with the project than they actually were. The investors felt duped after finding out this was more of a licensing deal and the appearances were a mere publicity stunt.

It gets better. These are not investors who got pissed after being refused a photo op with their hero Mr. Trump. Instead, there is actually some weight to this lawsuit… the condos were never built!

It gets even better. This project included 500+ luxury condos with all the amenities such as a private spa, restaurants, and shops. According to to the lawsuit, Trump and his developer did not have financing nor the proper permits prior to making the sales.

The luxury project site now consists of a few cement pads. Donald Trump has truly redefined the term “luxury” in this deal!

It does not make sense why these frivolous lawsuits continue to pop up. Adults need to stop blaming others and should be held accountable for their own actions.

A perfect example of this is when a white supremacist went on a shooting rampage in the San Fernando Valley. Now anyone can understand the families of the victims would be hurt and confused. In this case, the family members did not direct their anger towards the coward who took their loved ones lives. Instead, they filed a lawsuit against the major gun manufacturers claiming they deliberately over saturated the market with guns… resulting in unsavory sales practices… which ultimately made a gun available to this psycho Nazi, among others… wheeew.

Fortunately, the Federal Appeals Court dismissed the claims for damages.

The woman tried to recoup her lost day and a new pair of shoes in the amount of $100. Who spends that kind of money on kids shoes?

Luckily, Norwalk officials denied the woman’s claims and she will be forced to hose the shoes off just like the rest of us common folk.
